Higonokami Carbon Steel (Available in 3 Sizes) - Kanetsune
Higonokami pocket knives are rooted in Japanese culture, they were so popular in the 60's that all school children had them in their pencil case and had fun sharpening pencil competitions with them. This knife is the work of the brand Kanetsune Seki which is a real reference in the land of the rising sun in terms of traditional cutlery.
The blade of this small Japanese knife is both sharp and durable since it is made from a superposition of three layers of steel, whose core is always carbon. This historical type of "San Mai" manufacturing was once used to make katana blades.
The opening of the knife is based on the "chikiri" which is the lens located in the extension of the back of the blade. By pressing this lens, you can engage the blade using only one hand.
Finally, the black steel handle offers a rustic style to the knife while having the advantage of being solid. In addition, the Japanese inscriptions engraved on both sides add a touch of authenticity. You can also have your name or the text of your choice engraved.
