French Santoku knife with AUS10 and Damascus blade 67 layers | Deglon
The 180mm "Santoku" knife is mainly used for slicing, chopping, mincing, etc. It is part of the Damascus 67 collection offering cutting quality, aesthetics and comfort of use.
The blade is composed of a core of AUS 10 Japanese steel with a high carbon content which offers an unequalled hardness and a longer cutting life. This core is then covered with 33 damascus layers on each side of the blade (Steels 420 and 431) loaded with chromium and nickel, which ensure rust resistance and exceptional aesthetics.
The Damascus 67 knives are equipped with an elegant handle made of high quality "Corian" material, composed of white rock and acrylic resin. Comparable to marble for its hardness and its beautiful colors, the handle has an excellent resistance to shocks, stains, UV and bacteria.
